Auditions

Thank you for your interest in BYO. To schedule an audition, please contact the orchestra administrator by email administrator@byoweb.org with the following information:

• Parent Name
• Child Name
• Age
• Phone
• Instrument
• Numbers of years played instrument

What to Expect: 

• The audition will take approximately 15 minutes.
• Please be prepared to play any scales you know and a piece that demonstrates slow, lyrical playing and fast, technical playing. Sections of two different pieces will also be fine.
• You may be asked to do some sight reading.
• The audition will take place at Laney College, where our rehearsals are held.
