Important Dates for 2010-2011

August 28- Auditions (8am - noon)
September 11 - First rehearsal & Parents Meeting (mandatory) 9-12 noon
October 1 - Pratice-A-Thon begins
November 13 - Concerto Competition Applications due
November 14 - First Full Orchestra Concert
December 11 - Concerto Concert Auditions, during rehearsal
January 15, 2011 - Parents Meeting (mandatory) 9-12 noon
January 23 - Full Orchestra Concert & Music Teacher Appreciation
January 29 - Mid-year admissions auditions during rehearsal
April 3 - Chamber Concert & Viola Raffle
May 22 - Full Orchestra Concert and Silent Auction

Rehearsals begin Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Laney College Theater. Plan to arrive by 8:45, and to stay about 10 minutes after rehearsal to help with break down.

"Intensive" rehearsals (9:00 am - 12:30 pm) on the Saturday before the concert weekend.
