Chamber Ensemble Program
The Berkeley Youth Orchestra is proud to offer the experience and training of chamber music conveniently, and with no additional expense, as part of BYO’s comprehensive musical experience. In musical circles, chamber music is acknowledged as the “highest form of musicianship”, requiring extraordinary levels of concentration, refinement, finesse and awareness. At the same time, chamber music motivates and draws out a higher level of potential from young musicians. By creating a more profound understanding and experience of music, chamber music sharpens their skills, raising their level of playing and ensemble work. Our chamber music program helps ensure that young BYO musicians receive every advantage of musicianship possible.
We are pleased to thank all of our sectional and chamber music coaches, whose commitment and talent enrich the BYO experience for all of our young musicians.
