Berkeley Youth Orchestra is proud to offer the skills of our “Artist in Residence” (AiR) who supports each member of the orchestra through instruction and professional “modeling”.

Our artists in residence will demonstrate the repertoire for each concert, provide performance notes (e.g., fingerings and bowings), and sit in with sections to assist students with the mastery of each part. Members of AiR will get to know the students of their section and individualize instruction every week.
