Audition Expectations

Strings

For the audition you are expected to:

  • Play a chromatic scale (2 octaves) and additional major or minor scale of your choice (2 or 3 octaves), followed by

  • Play a prepared piece that demonstrates your skills both technically and expressively with emphasis on tone and intonation.
