Thank you for your interest in BYO and/or BYJO! We are currently accepting auditions for all instrument parts in both BYO and BYJO for the 2026-27 season on a rolling basis.

NOTES:

• BYO spots are more limited, as rehearsals have started since August 23, 2026. However, all members are still encouraged to audition.

• BYJO starts in January 2027, so we are accepting auditions through December.

To audition, please review the audition expectations page for your instrument and then submit the application below. Audition requirements are the same for both BYO and BYJO.

After submitting the audition form below, please go to this second form (linked here) to submit your recordings and files: 

• Video or Audio Recording:

  • At the top of the recording please state the full name of the applicant and, if a prepared piece is to be played, the name of the piece and composer.

  • Note: Scales and Prepared piece can be on separate files or on 1 combined file, as long as it clear in the form submission​.

• Provide a pdf file link of the sheet music for the piece the auditionee is performing.

• All materials must be submitted as links on the form, with shared settings that allow for viewable access.

  • Ex: For files shared as Google Drive links over email, please make sure that the access is set to "anyone with the link can view".

You will receive an audition result in 7-10 days after submitting your audition.
